Monday Market Report Mar 25 – Mar 31, 2019

WELL….It’s still not the “High Water Mark” for the year of 23 home sales that we had two weeks ago, but we continue to hold relatively steady in the Penticton housing market! In total, 14 residential properties change hands this week versus 12 homes sold the week prior – that’s a 15% increase in sales volume for the week. The total value of these 14 transactions was just over $6.6 million dollars, compared to $4.5 million the week prior…..that’s an increase of 32% in value – not bad for only 2 additional home sales vs. the week prior! The highest priced sale was a single family home in the Naramata region which sold for more than $870,000. The variance between list price and actual sales price was 97%. The housing market is still positioned in the “buyers” favour at this time.
