HERE WE GO……AND THE SPRING SALES SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY CAUGHT FIRE for the residential sales market here in Penticton and the Naramata region. In total, 25 properties changed hands this past week versus 20 homes sold the week prior. The total value of these 25 transactions was just over $10.2 million dollars, compared to $8.5 million the week prior. The highest priced sale was a single-family home in the Uplands/Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $640,000. The variance between list price and actual sales price was hovering around 98%….and maintains the usual average variance between 96% and 98% each and every week. In my humble opinion, the resale market is still very much “balanced” in Penticton at this time.
