BOOM! – ANOTHER MONSTER WEEK IN THE PENTICTON’S REAL ESTATE MARKET! In total, 27 properties changed hands this past week versus the 25 homes sold the week prior. Total value of these 27 transactions was just over $14 million dollars, compared to $10.2 million the week prior. That’s an increase of 27% in only one week. The highest priced sale was an acreage in the Uplands/Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $1,750,000. The variance between list price and actual sales price was hovering around 95%….just a bit below the usual average seen between 96% and 98% almost each and every week. It’s still my opinion that the resale market is very much “balanced” in Penticton at this time.
