Monday Market Report June 10 – June 16, 2019

AND THE BEAT GOES ON! HOME SALES CONTINUE TO STAY STRONG IN PENTICTON AND THE SOUTH OKANAGAN! That’s now seven weeks in a row with at least 20 homes being sold with 28 properties change hands this past week versus 23 homes sold the week prior. Total retail value of these transactions was more than $11.4 million dollars, compared to $9.7 million the prior week. The highest priced sale was a Single Family Home in Columbia/Duncan which sold for more than $850,000. The variance between list price and actual sales price was 97%….right in the middle of the consistent average seen between 96% and 98% each and every week. We are still a “balanced” market in Penticton at this time……It certainly is a great time to buy a home in the South Okanagan!
