Monday Market Report October 7 – 13, 2019

TOO EARLY TO CALL IT A TREND, BUT A SIGNIFICANT DROP IN SALES FOR THE FIRST FULL WEEK OF OCTOBER….I GUESS WE CAN SAY – “WELCOME TO FALL”!…..In total, just 12 homes were sold this past week compared to 20 homes that changed hands in the first six days of October. Total retail value of these 12 transactions was just over $5.7 million dollars, compared to $8.2 million the prior week. The highest priced transaction was a Single Family home in the Uplands / Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $875,000 dollars. The difference between listing price and sales price continues to stay very consistent at 97%. Seller’s are being very practical with their offering price, and we are solidly locked into a balanced market. The Fall season is STILL the PERFECT time for Buyer’s to be purchasing their new property! Here’s the breakdown of sales for this past week (October 7th to October 13th)
  • 1 Mobile Home
  • 1 Condo
  • 2 Half-Duplexes
  • 2 Townhomes
  • 6 Single Family Homes
