A bit of a positive “bounce” in home sales this past week. We had 12 residential properties change hands last week compared to just 5 properties from the week before. Total value of these twelve transactions was just over $4.3 million, compared to $1.7 million the week prior. The highest priced sale was a single family home in the Columbia/Duncan neighbourhood that sold for more than $580,000. The ratio of list price to actual sales price was 97% – better than the week before (96%), but buyers still have the upper-hand in the negotiation process with so much inventory still on the market for sale.
