Rising high on the eastern slopes of the valley, the Upper Carmi neighbourhood boasts some incredible views overlooking the valley and Okanagan Lake. Well-kept streets wind around the curves of the mountainside, where established homes are surrounded by mature trees and landscaping, while newer developments like Sendero Canyon expand the borders of the neighbourhood.
Recreational opportunities abound, with hiking trails leading away from the edge of the neighbourhood. Or follow Carmi Road as it leads into the forest for off-road activities and more. Lower Carmi offers a mix of older and newer homes around Carmi Elementary School and the Leir House, a heritage home that has found new use as a cultural centre.
