IT’S SAFE TO SAY THAT THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS NOW OFFICIALLY UPON US – MERRY CHRISTMAS!
JUST 7 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week, that’s DOWN 3 sales (10) from the previous week, but only DOWN 1 home sale (8) from the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Uplands/Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $1.2 Million. The difference between the average listing price and the average negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 97%, with 3 of the 7 properties selling “AT OR OVER” their stated listing price. Our current Inventory levels hover around 324+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 139 homes this time last year. That’s an increase in inventory year over year of 133%. We are now into our SIXTH straight month where inventory levels are higher than the previous year. Based on our NOVEMBER month-end stats, we are firmly locked into a “BUYERS” housing market.
Here are the SALES by property type for the 7 properties SOLD this past week (Dec. 12 – Dec. 18). Breakdown is as follows:
- 1 Mobile Home
- 1 Condo
- 2 Townhomes
- 3 Single Family Homes
There were 7 NEW LISTINGS that hit the market last week (Dec. 12 – Dec. 18). Breakdown is as follows:
