AND STEADY WE STAY AS IT RELATES TO HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!
We sold another 27 properties in the Penticton region over the past 7 days, that’s a DECREASE of 3 home sales vs. the week prior, and down 1 sale vs. the same week in July 2020. The TOTAL value of these 27 transactions was just over $17 million dollars compared to $19 million the week prior. The highest priced property to sell was a Single-Family Home in the Naramata region which had a price tag of more than $1.9 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week was 98%. In total, 13 of the 27 homes sold this week were “AT OR OVER” the listing price. Sales volumes continue to stay “SEASONAL”, but the “Average Selling Price” tells me that SELLERS still have the upper hand in this housing market!
Here’s a breakdown of sales by type of property for this past week (July 19 – July 25, 2021).- 1 Building Lot
- 2 Half-Duplexes
- 3 Mobile Homes
- 5 Townhomes
- 7 Condos
- 9 Single Family Homes
