STEADY WE GO WITH ANOTHER PREDICTABLE WEEK OF SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!
Another 25 “doors” changed hands this past week, up 4 home sales vs. the week prior, but down 7 sales vs. the same week in 2020. The TOTAL value of these 25 transactions was just over $13 million dollars compared to $10 million the week prior. The highest priced property to sell was a Single-Family Home on the South side of Penticton which sold for a price tag of more than $2.2 million dollars. The margin of difference between the listing price and actual sales price was even at 100%. In total, 13 of the 25 homes sold this week were “AT OR OVER” the listing price. I would say that sales volumes are now relatively “SEASONAL”, but the “Average Selling Price” tells me that SELLERS still have the upper hand in this housing market!
Here’s a breakdown of sales by type of property for this past week (July 5 – July 11, 2021).- 2 Building Lot
- 2 Townhomes
- 4 Mobile Homes
- 6 Condos
- 11 Single Family Homes
