
ANOTHER SOLID WEEK OF SALES – I LIKE WHAT I SEE! The Penticton housing market is still showing solid sales growth despite all of the negative news in the media! In total, 19 doors changed hands in the past seven days, which is UP 4 sales vs. the prior week. The TOTAL value of these 19 purchases was just over $13 million dollars, that’s an increase of $ 7 MILLION DOLLARS vs. the week before – HOLY SHITBALLS! The highest priced sale was a Single Family home in the Uplands / Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $1,900,000. The difference between the listing price (and in some cases, these are adjusted listing prices for sellers) and actual sales price for the week ended up at 98%. This is UP just slightly from last week’s sales ratio of 97%. My key indicators are showing the Penticton housing market favouring “BUYERS” for the foreseeable future.
