A STRONG WEEK TO FINISH OFF ANOTHER GOOD MONTH OF SALES ACTIVITY IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!
In total, 23 properties changed hands this past week in the Penticton region, that’s UP 3 sales (20) from the week prior, but DOWN 10 sales (33) for the same week one year ago. The TOTAL value of these 23 transactions was just over $14.4 million compared to $14.5 million the week prior. The highest priced sale was a Single-Family Home on the North side of the City which “SOLD” for more than $1.5 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual negotiated sales price for the week was right at 100%. It’s still important to mention that 10 of the 23 homes sold this past week were “AT OR OVER” there stated listing price – that’s close to half of all home sales. DID YOU KNOW that there are currently only 184 homes (of all types) on the market right now compared to 325 homes this time last year? It’s still too early to say that the market is shifting towards a more “BALANCED” position, but I will be keeping my eyes on this possibility as we roll through December!
Here is the Sales breakdown by property type for the 23 homes sold this past week (Nov. 22 – Nov. 28)- 1 Mobile
