BACK TO SCHOOL WEEK = SLIGHT DIP FOR PENTICTON HOME SALES AS WE ROLL INTO SEPTEMBER!

This week delivered 16 home sales in Penticton – that’s 6 sales down from last week’s 22, but surpassing last year’s 10 sales for the same period! We also had 38 vibrant new listings hitting the market – buyers have more compelling opportunities than ever to find their perfect match.

The highlight of the week? A Single-Family Home in the Uplands/Redlands neighbourhood which sold for more than $850,000 Dollars. On average, buyers managed to secure properties for 98% of the listing price, with only 1 of the 16 homes selling at or above their asking price.

Inventory Watch: Currently, there are 517 properties (of all types) available for sale, compared to 530 listings in September 2024. This is the third week in a row where the inventory levels have been on par (or lower) with that of 2024. Is the market shifting?

New Listings Surge: Over the past 30 days, 125 new properties have hit the market, giving buyers even more options to explore and choose from.
