Monday Market Report September 19, 2022 – September 25, 2022

AND THE BEAT GOES ON – ANOTHER SLOW WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

In total, just 9 properties SOLD in Penticton this past week, that’s only DOWN 2 sales (11) from the previous week, but DOWN a WHOPPING 20 home sales (29) from the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Columbia/Duncan area which sold for more than $850,000. The difference between the listing price and the negotiated sales price for ALL homes SOLD this past week ended up at 98%, and only 3 of the 9 properties did sell “AT OR OVER” their asking price. Our current Inventory levels continue to hover around 310 homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 210 homes this time last year. That’s an increase in inventory year over year of +47%.

  • 2 Single Family Homes
  • 3 Condos

There were 31 NEW LISTINGS that hit the market last week (Sept. 19 – Sept 25). Breakdown is as follows:

  • 1 Mobile Home
  • 2 Half-Duplexes
  • 5 Townhomes
  • 7 Condos
  • 15 Single Family Homes
