A SLOW WEEK OF HOME SALES TO FINISH OFF THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER!
In total, just 14 properties SOLD in Penticton this past week, that’s up 5 sales (9) from the previous week, but DOWN 12 home sales (26) from the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview area which sold for more than $1.1 Million. The difference between the listing price and the negotiated sales price for ALL homes SOLD this past week ended up at 97%, and only 5 of the 14 properties did sell “AT OR OVER” their asking price. Our current Inventory levels continue to hover around 305 homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 210 homes this time last year. That’s an increase in inventory year over year of +45%. Did you know that we SOLD 51 homes in Penticton & Naramata in September? That’s DOWN 76 sales (127) compared to September 2021.
