Another lackluster performance this past week on the residential home sales front here in Penticton. This will be two weeks in a row where sales just “crept” over and into double digits. In total, we had 11 residential properties change hands this past week versus 10 homes the prior week. Total value of these eleven transactions was just over $3.9 million, and almost identical to the sales mark from the week before. The highest priced sale was a condominium on Lakeshore Drive which sold for more than $625,000. The variance between list price and actual sales price was 98%. This percentage continues to stay strong, and always between 96% & 98% each week. I’m still strongly convinced that the housing market is positioned in the “buyers” favour at this point in time
