Welcome to my “Quick Market Report” for March 2021. Here is what YOU need to know about the housing trends here in Penticton!

  • We continue to be LOCKED into an extraordinarily strong SELLERS market – this trend is now in the SEVENTH straight month.
  • We sold 141 “doors” in Penticton this March. In March 2020 we sold 59 homes.
  • Now hear this…..The average Single Family home price is now $829,000. Up 35% ($612,000) from last year.
  • Average Condo price is now $389,000. Up 13% ($344,000) from last March.
  • Inventory levels are exceptionally low. There are only 112 Single Family Homes currently for sale in Penticton.
  • More than $79 million dollars of residential property was sold in March 2021. An increase of 203% ($26 million) vs. last year.
  • ONLY 228 “doors for sale” (single family, condos, townhomes, half-duplexes) in the city of Penticton vs. 480 last year.
  • 167 new listings hit the market in March compared to 231 listings last year.
