THE SPRING SELLING SEASON IS OFFICIALLY UPON US!
We’ve just seen our first solid sign that SPRING is here with 20 properties SELLING in PENTICTON this week! That’s UP 2 sales (18) from the previous week, but DOWN 4 home sales (24) for the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for more than $1.5 MILLION. The difference between the average listing price and the average negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 96%, with just 1 of the 20 homes SELLING at or above there listing price. Our current inventory levels hover around 340 homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 168 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +102%.
