Monday Market Report April 5 – April 11, 2021

HELLO APRIL – AND WE’RE FULL STEAM AHEAD IN THE PENTICTON HOUSING MARKET!

Another banner week with 37 homes changing hands, only down 2 sales vs. the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 37 transactions was just over $22 million dollars compared to the $20 million dollars in sales the week prior. The highest priced sale was a Single Family home in the Uplands/Redlands area which sold for more than $2.6 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 99%, a mere percentage point lower than last week. 20 of the 39 homes bought this past week were sold AT OR ABOVE their asking price. We’re still in unprecedented times with a HEAVY tilt towards SELLERS with no end in sight! Here’s a breakdown of sales by type of property for this past week (April 5th to April 11th).
