Sixteen sales crossed the finish line in Penticton last week – a touch quieter than the 17 the week before, and three fewer than this time last year. Meanwhile, 38 new listings hit the market, adding to an already well-stocked inventory. Buyers have real options right now, and real time to weigh them, the kind of breathing room that’s been largely absent for the past few years. Inventory Check: Penticton currently has 431 active properties across all categories, UP from 425 this time last year. That less than a 1% increase in available inventory, a pattern that has been showing up consistently in the data over the past couple of months and is worth watching as we move deeper into spring.
