AND INTO AUGUST WE GO – WITH A VERY SOLID START FOR THE FIRST FULL WEEK!

In total, we sold 20 properties over the past seven days, which is eleven less sales vs. the prior week. The TOTAL value of these 20 purchases was just over $8.8 million dollars, which is a decrease of $5.6 million dollars vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was a Single Family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for more than $770,000. The difference between the listing price (and in some cases, these are adjusted listing prices from where the sellers started) and actual sales price for the week ended up at 98%. This is down just slightly from last week’s sales ratio of 99%. All of my sales and inventory indicators tell me this is a STRONG sellers market at this moment in time. Lots of “DEMAND” and not very much “SUPPLY”.
