A STRANGE WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE SMOKY CITY OF PENTICTON!

A TOTAL of 15 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 3 home sales (12) from the previous week, but DOWN 6 home sales (21) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Condo that sold on Lakeshore Drive for more than $1.9 Million Dollars….WOW! The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98%, with ONLY 2 of 15 homes SELLING at or above there stated listing price. Our current inventory levels hover around 418+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 301 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +39%.
