WE FINISHED OFF AUGUST WITH A SLOW WEEK!

In total, only 14 properties SOLD this past week, that’s 7 fewer sales (21) from the previous week, and DOWN a STAGGERING 28 home sales (42) from the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for more than $1.4 million. The difference between the listing price and the negotiated sales price for ALL homes SOLD this past week ended up at 99%, with 6 of the 14 properties selling “AT OR OVER” their asking price. Our Inventory levels continue to hover around 300+ homes (of all types) on the market “For Sale” right now compared to 210 homes this time last year. That’s an increase in inventory year over year of +43% – A VERY WELCOMED TREND! Did you know that we SOLD 72 homes in Penticton & Naramata in August? That’s DOWN 61 (133) sales compared to August 2021.
