Monday Market Report August 9 – August 15, 2021

STEADY WEEK OF SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

In total, another 29 homes changed hands this past week in the Penticton region, that’s UP 8 properties from the week prior, but DOWN 18 sales (47) for the same week in August 2020. The TOTAL value of these 29 transactions was just over $18.5 million dollars which is on par from the week prior. The highest priced sale was a Single-Family Home in rural Penticton which had a price tag of more than $1.6 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week was 99%. In total, 13 of the 29 homes sold this week were “AT OR OVER” the listing price. Sales volumes continue to stay somewhat “SEASONAL”, but there feels like a change in the wind is coming. Could we be moving towards a more “BALANCED” market?
