A PRETTY QUIET WEEK IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON AS WE ROLL INTO 2025!
In Penticton, we sold 6 properties this past week, this is on par for sales from the previous week, and a slight increase from the 3 sales during the same period last year. The highest-priced transaction was a single-family home on the south side of Penticton, which sold for over $1,025,000. The average negotiated sales price this past week was 95% of the listing price, with not one of the six properties selling at or above its listing price. For the second week in a row, inventory levels in the city are lower compared to the previous year. We currently have 351 properties (of all types) listed for sale in the city, compared to 406 homes available in January 2024 — a slight decrease of 14% in available inventory.
