Monday Market Report December 7 – 13, 2020

DECEMBER HASN’T DAMEPENED MOST BUYERS APETITE TO PURCHASE A HOME  IN PENTICTON!

Case in point, we closed another 31 doors over the past seven days, which is the same amount of doors sold as the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 31 home purchases was just over $17 million dollars, UP about $1 million dollars vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was a single family home in the rural region of Penticton which sold for more than $4 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 95%, which I see as just a one-week “blip” in the big picture. We are still very much locked into a “SELLERS” market at this moment in time. 2020 has turned out to be a banner year for home sales! In fact, we are POISED to break 1,000 doors sold in Penticton this year, which will be an increase of 21% (828 homes sold) over 2019.
