SMASHING WEEK OF HOME SALES HERE IN THE PENTICTON REGION…
In total, we had 32 homes change hands this week, down 6 sales from the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 32 purchases was just over $18 million dollars compared to $24 million the week prior. The highest priced sale was a single family home in Naramata which sold for more than $1,500,000 dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 97%, one percentage point lower than last week’s sales ratio of 98%. 18 of the 32 homes sold this past week were sold AT OR ABOVE their asking price. Today’s housing market is HEAVILY tilted towards SELLERS as there continues to be a tremendous amount of DEMAND in the marketplace, with very little SUPPLY.
