A NICE BURST OF HOME SALES IN THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET!

Penticton’s real estate market is showing healthy activity with 21 homes changing hands this week – that’s UP 5 sold doors from last week’s 16 sales and UP 8 sales from last years 13 sales. With 21 fresh listings joining the market, we’re seeing a vibrant, well-balanced marketplace. Buyers are enjoying excellent selection and the time to make thoughtful decisions without pressure. For sellers, this active market continues to attract motivated, qualified buyers ready to make their move. This balanced environment reflects a stable, sustainable market where transactions are happening and goals are being achieved. Highlight of the Week: A Fourplex on the South side of Penticton sold for more than $1.3 Million Dollars. Overall, buyers secured homes at an average of 95% of the asking price, with just 1 of the 21 properties selling at or above the listing price.

Inventory Check: There are currently 356 properties (of all types) available in Penticton today. That’s down from 425 Properties in January 2025. This is a 16% decline in “Active” inventory versus last year and has become a consistent trend in my year-over-year analysis.

Listing Activity: Over the past month, 132 new properties have entered the Penticton market, offering buyers an enhanced variety of homes to choose from.
