Monday Market Report February 27, 2022 – March 5, 2023

A RELATIVELY QUIET WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

JUST 13 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week, that’s on par (13) from the previous week of sales, but DOWN 10 home sales (23) for the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home on the Naramata Bench which sold for more than $2.7 million dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the average negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 97%, with only 4 of the 13 homes SELLING at or above there listing price. Our current Inventory levels hover around 326 homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 148 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +120%. Based on our FEBRUARY month-end analysis, we are still firmly locked into a “BUYERS” housing market at this point in time!
