PRETTY MUCH A GIVEN THAT WE WOULD HAVE A QUIET WEEK IN PENTICTON AS WE ROLL INTO 2024!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! JUST 3 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 1 sale (2) from one week ago and UP one sale (2) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home that sold in the West Bench/Sage Mesa neighbourhood for more than $950k. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98% with no properties selling AT or OVER there stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton hover around 411 homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 297 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +38%. Buyer’s are still FIRMLY in control of the marketplace at this point in time!
