A GENERALLY QUIET WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!
JUST 9 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week, that’s DOWN 2 sales (11) from the previous week, and DOWN a WHOPPING 20 home sales (29) from the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for more than $1.5 Million. The difference between the average listing price and the average negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 99%, with 2 of the 9 homes SELLING at or above there listing price. Our current Inventory levels hover around 291+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 151 homes this time last year. That’s an increase in inventory year over year of +92%. Based on our DECEMBER month-end stats, we are firmly locked into a “BUYERS” housing market at this point in time!
