A SLOW START TO OPEN UP 2024 IN THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET!

JUST 4 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s UP 1 sale (3) from one week ago, but DOWN 3 sales (7) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Condo that sold on the South side of Penticton for more than $730k. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98%. However, 2 of the 4 properties did sell AT or OVER there stated listing price. Inventory levels in the City of Penticton hover around 412 properties (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 297 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +39%. Buyer’s are still FIRMLY in control of the marketplace at this point in time!
