A SLUGGISH JULY WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

ONLY 13 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s DOWN 11 sales (24) from the previous week, and DOWN 5 sales (18) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home that sold in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood for more than $2.5 Million Dollars. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98%, with ONLY 1 of the 13 homes SELLING at or above there stated listing price. Our current inventory levels hover around 424+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 313 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +35%.
