Monday Market Report June 13 – June 19, 2022

A STEADY WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

In total, 25 properties changed hands this past week, that’s UP 7 sales (18) from the week prior, and the SAME amount of home sales (25) for the same period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the Main South neighbourhood which “SOLD” for more than $2.2 million. The difference between the listing price and the negotiated sales price for the week ended up at 97%, with only 9 of the 25 homes selling “AT OR OVER” their asking price. Inventory levels continue to SURGE with 281 homes (of all types) on the market right now compared to 241 homes this time last year. That’s now a solid 2 MONTHS where inventory levels are trending higher than the previous year. This is certainly becoming the new norm!
