SLOW (BUT STEADY) WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET.

In total, just 15 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s DOWN 13 sales (28) from the previous week, but UP 4 sales (11) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home that sold in the Wiltse neighbourhood for more than $1.5 Million. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 97%, AND only 2 of the 15 homes SOLD at or above there stated listing price. Our current inventory levels hover around 421+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 163 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +158%.
