Monday Market Report June 21 – June 27, 2021

SLOW BUT STEADY WEEK OF SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!

Another 23 “doors” changed hands this past week, down only 2 home sales vs. the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 23 transactions was just over $12 million dollars compared to $15 million in sales the week prior. The highest priced property sold was a Single Family Home in the Naramata region which garnered more than $1.2 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week was 99%, which is on par from the week prior. In total, 10 of the 23 homes sold this week “AT OR OVER” the listing price. I would say that sales volumes are now relatively “SEASONAL” for this time of year, but the “Average Selling Price” tells me that SELLERS still have the upper hand in this housing market!
