ANOTHER PREDICTABLE WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!
In total, another 31 homes changed hands this past week, down only 4 home sales vs. the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 31 transactions was just over $14 million dollars compared to $21 million in sales the week prior. The highest priced property to sell was a Penthouse condo on the South side of Penticton which garnered more than $1 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week was 100% – which seems to be a common theme over the past few months. In total, 19 of the 31 homes sold AT OR OVER asking price. I would say that sales volumes are now relatively “SEASONAL” for this time of year, but the “Average Selling Price” still tell me that SELLERS have the upper hand in the market.
