A NEW MONTH HASN’T CHANGED ANYTHING IN THE “HOT” SELLER’S MARKET FOR PENTICTON!
In total, we had 33 homes change hands this week, down 2 sales from the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 33 purchases was just over $18 million dollars compared to $19 million the week prior The highest priced sale this week was a single family home in Penticton which sold for more than $1.7 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 99%, which is on par with last week. 18 of the 33 homes bought this past week were sold AT OR ABOVE their asking price. Today’s housing market is still HEAVILY tilted towards SELLERS and there doesn’t appear to be in end in sight to this trend.
