Monday Market Report March 10, 2025 – March 16, 2025

    A NICE BUMP IN HOME SALES FOR THE PENTICTON REAL ESTATE MARKET!

A TOTAL of 19 properties were SOLD in Penticton this past week. That’s UP 8 sales from the previous week (11), and UP 7 sales for the same time period a year ago (12). The highest-priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the West Bench area of Penticton which sold for over $925,000 dollars. The average negotiated sales price this past week was 97% of the listing price, with just 3 of the 19 properties selling at or above there stated listing price. Since the start of 2025, inventory levels in the city have been lower compared to the previous year. We currently have 464 properties (of all types) listed for sale in the city, compared to 475 homes available in March 2024. This is a slight decrease of 2% in available inventory year over year. At this moment, buyers continue to have a slim advantage in the market.
