In total, we had another 39 homes change hands this week, UP 6 additional sales from last week. The TOTAL value of these 39 purchases was just over $20 million dollars compared to18 million the week prior. The highest priced sale this week was an Acreage in the Naramata region which sold for more than $1.5 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week stayed strong at 99% of asking price (which is where it has been for more than a month). 19 of the 39 homes bought this past week were sold AT OR ABOVE their asking price. Did you know that there has been 23 homes sold for more than a MILLION dollars so far in 2021? That’s AMAZING! Today’s housing market continues to stay HEAVILY tilted towards SELLERS and there doesn’t appear to be any end in sight to this trend.
