A RECORD WEEK OF HOME SALES IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!
50 homes change hands this week, that’s absolutely incredible! This was up 11 house sales (39) vs. the week prior. Now get this, the TOTAL value of these 50 purchases was just over $28 million dollars compared to the $20 million dollars in sales the week prior. The highest priced sale this week was a Single Family home in the North area of Penticton which sold for more than $1.4 million dollars. Now here’s a new twist, the difference between the listing price and actual sales price was OVER 100% of asking, ending up at 101% for the week. 32 of the 50 homes that closed this past week were sold AT OR ABOVE their asking price. This is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Did you know that we have sold more than 150 homes in March 2021? Last year we sold a paltry 59 homes…..almost a 200% INCREASE IN SALES VOLUME! Today’s housing market is unlike anything we have ever seen before as we continue to stay HEAVILY tilted towards SELLERS with no end in sight to this trend.
