A NICE PUSH OF HOME SALES TO FINISH OFF THE MONTH OF MARCH!

A nice week of sales where 18 properties SOLD in PENTICTON! That’s UP 3 sales (15) from the previous week, but DOWN A STAGGERING 14 home sales (32) for the same week one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview neighbourhood which sold for more than $900k. The difference between the average listing price and the average negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 99%, with just 5 (of the 18) homes SELLING at or above there listing price. Our current inventory levels hover around 335 homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 168 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +99%. Based on our FEBRUARY month-end analysis, we are still firmly entrenched in a “BUYERS” housing market at this point in time!
