Monday Market Report March 30 – April 5, 2020
ANOTHER PRODUCTIVE WEEK FOR HOME SALES IN PENTICTON – ESPECIALLY WITH ALL OF THE UNCERTAINTY IN THE WORLD! In total, 20 homes were sold in the past seven days, six more (14) vs. the week prior. TOTAL VALUE of these purchases crossed over $9.7 million dollars, or $3.5 million MORE ($6.2 million) than the week before. The highest priced sale was a Single Family home in the Columbia/Duncan neighbourhood which sold for more than $700,000. The difference between listing price and sales price was 97% for the week. It’s apparent that SELLERS are willing to take less for their homes with all the news surrounding Covid-19. STILL, (AT THIS MOMENT) all of my key indicators point towards the housing market moving into a “SELLERS POSITION”! If you follow this weekly post, then you understand that RIGHT NOW is the BEST time to buy your new home!
Here’s the breakdown of sales by property “type” for this past week (March 30th to April 5th)
