Monday Market Report May 25 – 31, 2020

THE HOUSING RESALE MARKET IS STILL TRENDING IN A POSITIVE DIRECTION! We had a respectable week of sales in the world of PENTICTON REAL ESTATE. In total, 14 doors sold in the past seven days, which is down 3 sales vs. the prior week. The TOTAL value of these 14 purchases was just over $7.3 million dollars, or $200,000 more ($7.1 million) vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was an acreage in the Uplands neighbourhood which sold for more than $1,400,000. The difference between listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 96% of ASKING PRICE. This is down from the prior two weeks when our sales to listing price ratio was 98%. My key indicators still show the Penticton housing market favouring “BUYERS” for the first time since December 2018.
