A BIG WEEK FOR LISTINGS IN PENTICTON REAL ESTATE!

A TOTAL of 16 properties SOLD in PENTICTON this past week. That’s DOWN 3 sales (19) from the previous week, and DOWN 10 home sales (26) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a single-family home that sold in the Columbia/Duncan neighbourhood for more than $1,400,000. The difference between the average listing price and the ACTUAL negotiated sales price this past week ended up at 98%, AND just 1 of the 16 homes SOLD at or above the stated listing price. 52 NEW LISTINGS hit the market this past week (previously averaging 29 per week) bringing our current inventory levels to over 400+ homes (of all types) “For Sale” right now compared to 163 homes this time last year – that’s an increase in inventory year over year of +145%.
