Monday Market Report May 30 – June 5, 2022

A SOLID WEEK OF HOME SALES TO START OFF THE MONTH OF JUNE IN THE PENTICTON MARKET!

In total, 26 properties changed hands this past week, that’s UP 13 sale (13) from the week prior, but DOWN 9 home sales (35) for the same time period one year ago. The highest priced transaction was a Single-Family Home in the West Bench neighbourhood which “SOLD” for more than $1.1k. The difference between the listing price and the negotiated sales price for the week ended up at 99%, with 14 of the 26 homes selling “AT OR OVER” their asking price. Inventory levels continue to move NORTH with 270 homes (of all types) on the market right now compared to 241 homes this time last year. That’s the FORTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK where inventory levels are higher than the previous year. This is becoming the new norm!
