Monday Market Report May June 15-21, 2020

BOOM! NOW THAT’S MORE LIKE A NORMAL SPRING SELLING WEEK! – I LIKE WHAT I SEE!

The Penticton housing market continues to “HEAT UP” despite all of the negative news in the media! In total, 25 doors changed hands in the past seven days, which is UP 6 sales vs. the prior week. The TOTAL value of these 25 purchases was just over $12.4 million dollars, down just a bit vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was an Acreage in the Naramata region which sold for more than $1,450,000. The difference between the listing price (and in some cases, these are adjusted listing prices from where the sellers started) and actual sales price for the week ended up at 96%. This is down slightly from last week’s sales ratio of 97%. My key indicators are showing the Penticton housing market still favouring “BUYERS” at this moment.

Here’s a breakdown of sales by property “type” for this past week (June 15th to June 21st)
  • 1 Mobile Home
  • 1 Acreage
  • 5 Townhomes
  • 8 Condos
  • 10 Single Family Homes
