MARKET EXPLOSION – WHO SAID THAT COVID WAS IN TOWN? HOLY SHITBALLS!

The Penticton housing market had a very strong week of sales despite all of the negative housing “DOOM & GLOOM” news in the media! In total, 38 doors have changed hands in the past seven days, which is UP 13 sales vs. the prior week. The TOTAL value of these 38 purchases was just over $17 million dollars, an increase of more than $5 million vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was a Single Family home in the West Bench neighbourhood which sold for more than $1,050,000. The difference between the listing price (and in some cases, these are adjusted listing prices from where the sellers started) and actual sales price for the week ended up at 97%. This is up slightly from last week’s sales ratio of 96%. My key indicators are starting to move towards “SELLERS” – Let’s see what this week brings!
