Monday Market Report November 16 – 22, 2020

ANOTHER EXTRAORDINARY WEEK OF HOME SALES!!

…chalk up another 30 properties to sell in the Penticton region over the past seven days, which is a slight decrease of 1 sale vs. the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 30 home purchases was just over $14 million dollars, down about $2 million dollars vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was a half-duplex in the North area of the city which sold for more than $1.3 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 98%, which is one percentage point lower than last week’s sales ratio of 99%. The year to date average has stayed consistent at 98%. Although hard to believe as we round into the month of December, this market is still very much weighted towards “SELLERS” with plenty of buyer “DEMAND”.
