Monday Market Report November 23 – 29, 2020

A SOLID WEEK OF SALES TO FINISH OFF ANOTHER
GREAT MONTH OF ACTIVITY IN THE CITY OF PENTICTON!!

In total, we just closed another 33 doors over the past seven days, which is an INCREASE of 3 sales vs. the week prior. The TOTAL value of these 33 home purchases was just over $15 million dollars, UP about $1 million dollars vs. the week before. The highest priced sale was a single family home in the Wiltse/Valleyview area of the city which sold for more than $1.3 million dollars. The difference between the listing price and actual sales price for the week ended up at 99%, which is one percentage point higher than last week’s sales ratio of 98%. The year to date average has stayed consistent at 98%. Although hard to believe as we round into the month of December, this real estate market is still very much weighted towards “SELLERS” with plenty of buyer “DEMAND”.
